This project looked at the design and cost-efectiveness of installing a reedbed treatment system, instead of using the foul sewer. Design and materials considered are simple and cheap and the owner was happy to carry out the work himself.
The site assessment included the client interview and a look at the slopes and room available for the potential reedbeds.
The site containes one family house and two holiday lets.
The feasibility study on the right set out the design suggestions, legal requirements and costs for the project.
